Hi! My name is Kacie, at least I think that is my name; no one has ever called me that until recently, but now I hear it all the time, and there is always something exciting going on when I run towards the humans who are saying it.

I guess I should tell you a little bit more about me. I am a European Golden Retriever; that is where my snow-white fur comes from. Everyone says that I am adorable, and who am I to disagree! I am 8 weeks old now. I used to live with all my brothers and sisters and my parents at Purple Gate Farm in Hillsborough, NC, but now I live with my sister Yuki and the nice lady. The nice lady said that I have an important job ahead of me and that I am going to be a Service Dog. I don’t know what that means yet, but it sounds exciting!

In the meantime, I have already made lots of new friends and even got to meet some chickens! They smell funny but sure were fun to watch.
