  1. Before Sam trained my puppy Cannon I couldn’t get him to walk on a leash and he had very little confidence with new people. When I got him back from his puppy training he was better in his crate and now loves it and will go in it just to relax. His confidence has improved greatly with people and stops barking when I ask him, we are able to enjoy great walks now with no pulling!! We are very happy with our training.

  2. Our puppy, Holly, was so cute, but such a handful. She would nip, not listen, pull on her leash, etc. As older dog owners, my husband and I knew we needed her to be trained and trained well. Sam was suggested to us. From Sam’s first visit, we knew she would be the one to train “us” as well as Holly. She took time to meet Holly and find out about her personality in order to find the best ways to work with her. We could definitely see improvement every week. I was also impressed with Sam’s accessibility. Any time I had a question, I would text or call her. She always responded quickly and with a great sense of humor! Holly is now a great dog to be around thanks to Sam.

  3. Sam trained our dog Oliver. During the time she worked with him, she exposed him to many social situations with both people and other dogs. With Sam, he learned how to be comfortable, calm and obedient in a crowded place with lots of distractions. She trained him with everything from not being an opportunist with our food, not jumping on visitors, to loving his crate as a calm safe place.
This has translated into a well adjusted canine companion for us. He is a great walker now too which wasn’t the case before Sams training. Our shoulders and we thank Sam!

  4. Okay so I want to start off by saying that every person thinks their dog is a good dog. And I do believe that my dog is a good dog, the good thing about Golden retrievers is that they don’t take much work. However, when it comes to my dog on a leash it makes you want to pull your hair out. I have taken her to three trainers prior to Sam, none of which could make her better. I have had people who walk dogs professionally try to walk her and they give up. She was one of the most frustrating dogs on a leash that you could ever imagine. Keep in mind I’m 4 ft 11 and 97 pounds so a dog that pulls is not a good time. One of my friends referred me to Sam And I was so hesitant. We spoke on the phone prior to the training and I still wasn’t convinced there was anything she could do. She met up with me a few days later and took my dog by herself. She wanted to see how she would respond without me.

I kind of think she’s the dog whisperer because my dog is not a calm dog and with her around it was almost like she was at attention in the military. She took my dog for a little while came back and said she believed she could help. She had to work around my schedule because I was pretty busy but she came back later. We met up at a dog park because I had explained that distractions would make the situation worse. A typical retriever. At the dog park she took the time to explain to me what we were going to do and how we were going to do it. She walked me through everything step by step. Within 10 minutes my dog on a leash was a completely different dog. I was able to walk her without fumbling and I was even able to run with her. We walked her next to the dog park where all the other dogs were playing And it was a miracle.

I know this sounds too good to be true but take the time to try. I was rolling my eyes the entire time that my friend said that Sam could fix my dog. But she was not wrong. Sandy is so active so she needs to be able to get out and now we can. She is 8 years old an
d I thought stuck in her ways but I was wrong. I have to give a big thanks to Sam because I never thought it could be this easy. Like I said fourth dog trainer. I guess fourth times the charm this time.

  5. Thank you, Sam, and All Around Dog Training for changing our lives for the better. Before our 9 year old son had his golden retriever autism assistance service dog, life was hard, to say the least. Transitions from place to place were often impossible and left us stuck in a corner or hallway until we got help. Our son’s sensory issues hindered him from enjoying life and became objects of obsession. School brought on extreme anxiety, and most days began with my wrestling him into the building.

But now life is completely different. His dog has given him confidence and has taught him responsibility. She has given him a sense of purpose and helps him to focus on moving forward. Her sweet disposition and constant desire to please help to diffuse his tantrums and anxieties.

And the process couldn’t have been more smooth. Having grown up with a mother who trains service dogs, Samantha has a deep understanding of training these incredible animals. She truly has a calling and a passion for training autism service dogs. Her compassion, experience, and genuine sincerity were clear from the beginning.

We feel so blessed to have found All Around Dog Training. You have brought out the best in our son and in our family as a whole. Thank you, Sam.

  6. We had Samantha board our 7 month old German shorthaired pointer for training. He was so full of energy, which we knew he would be when we got him, but we couldn’t even take him outside to run off the energy without him running off. He trampled all of our guest by jumping all over them and pulled us all over the place when trying to get him to walk on a leash. After 2 weeks of training, he came back off leash and knowing so many commands. We have family and friends over now and he doesn’t have to be put in his crate. He is still our super friendly, full energy dog but is so much more manageable now. Also, he can now walk on a leash, knows his place, and listens when given a command. We are so pleased with the training he received and it was well worth the money!
